Understanding CDC COVID-19 Travel Levels

To protect US citizens from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center for Diseases and Control regularly updates its travel recommendations and warnings. A rule of thumb for American passengers is to only travel when necessary and to get fully vaccinated. Below are the 4 levels of travel warnings from the CDC.

Level 4: Very High COVID-19 Cases

What it means: Avoid travel to these destinations. If you must travel to any of these destinations, make sure that you are fully vaccinated.
