These beaches in Southeast Asia are a must-see for all beach lovers!

As normal human beings with a lot of responsibilities, we’re always looking forward to our next vacation. We truly understand how tiring the daily grind can get! But picking a vacation spot depends on the kind of relaxation you’re looking for. Some want to lounge around the day then party at night, others prefer to keep things mellow throughout the day, while some would opt for mountains and valleys that offer different activities.

Do you already have an ideal vacation in mind? If not, we’ve come up with seven tropical paradise destinations in the southeastern part to help you jumpstart that much-needed vacation.

El Nido, Palawan, Philippines

Located in one of the best islands in the world, El Nido boasts of breathtaking views of limestone cliffs and clear blue waters. Those seeking an adventure can scuba dive or kayak through the different islands. But if you would rather take it easy, El Nido has a laid-back vibe that is perfect for days when you just want to revel in beautiful scenery while enjoying the breeze.

Viyahe tip: Add Snake Island to you itinerary! Take a walk along this beautiful sandbar, a strip of white sand that connects one of the different islands to the mainland.

Phi Phi Islands, Thailand

If you’re ready to party ‘til the AM, then you’ve come to the right place! Famous for its appearance on The Beach, the Phi Phi Islands is a great stop on your Thai adventure. Of course, it is also a snorkeling paradise, but most people go here for its fire shows and crazy parties.

Viyahe tip: Visit the Monkey Beach where you can interact with and feed silly primates!

Wayag Islands, Indonesia

Even though getting to Wayag Islands or the Raja Ampat archipelago in Indonesia is quite a journey, the pristine scenery is totally worth the trip. Experienced scuba divers rave about this place because of its abundance of marine life. However, if diving is not one of your skills, you can also trek, snorkel or kayak around the islands to get a panoramic view of its beautiful island clusters and crystal clear waters.

Viyahe tip: When choosing where to stay on the island, consider the activities you prefer doing before deciding.

Nha Trang, Vietnam

alt text

Unlike other beach destinations, Nha Trang is located in a cosmopolitan area in Vietnam with high-rise buildings, modern restaurants, and boutique shops. Snorkeling or scuba diving in their protected marine area is an exciting day activity. In your leisure time, there are mud baths, temples and museums that you can visit. At night, hit up one of their clubs or night markets to complete your Vietnam trip.

Viyahe tip: Haggle, haggle, haggle! Whether it’s with the fruit stand or the rickshaw drivers, strive to get the best prices for local produce, handicrafts, clothing, and jewellery.

Koh Rong Samloem, Cambodia

alt text

Koh Rong Samloem offers a more peaceful retreat compared to its neighboring island, Koh Rong. The accommodations and activities are limited and simple, which makes it the ideal location to unplug from our busy lives. Scuba divers love this spot for its well-preserved seas, but non-divers equally love this virgin island for the quiet, no-frills experience.

Viyahe tip: Since this is a (sort of) remote island, bring sufficient cash to make sure that you have enough allowance for spending.

Havelock Island, Andaman Islands, India

Despite being a destination that requires multiple flights and a boat ride, Havelock Island is a spot that you should definitely add to your bucket list. It is blessed with some of the most stunning beach views and rich marine life all in an off-the-beaten-path location.

Viyahe tip: Live your beach bum dreams on the Radhanagar Beach, the best beach in India!

It’s not impossible to visit our dream tropical paradise these days, especially with promo flights and tour packages within arms reach. All you need to do is drag a friend along (or not), bring your swimwear, and book that ticket ASAP! Soon enough, you’ll be sitting on a beach chair, watching the sunset (preferably with a boozy drink in hand), not worrying about a thing in the world.
