According to DOT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, Bohol will be welcoming tourists back by the second week of December after months-long closure and travel ban. Bohol is currently accommodating corporate events and weddings or MICE gatherings (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions). But now, the province seems to be ready to resume its tourism operations.
Situated in Central Visayas, Bohol is home to the famous Chocolates Hills, Loboc River, and the Tarsiers. Panglao Island is another world-famous beach destination known for its clear waters, white-sand beaches, and colorful coral gardens.
For tourists seeking to vacation in Bohol, a negative RT-PCR test result must be shown upon entry. Other new normal guidelines, such as quarantine order and age limit rules, are yet to be determined by the IATF.
